Aunt Elsie’s Inheritance
Escapades Escape Rooms
Escape room
IRL
Awesome experience!!! First off, the owners are amazing and very personable. Took time to get to know us a bit and asked about our gaming style (never had that happen before). We were on a work vacation in the area and did a few rooms because beaches aren't our thing. Instantly when we got to room time it was immersive. The story was well told with the owners taking on an in theme title. When you walk into the room it's like stepping into your Aunt's old house, smells included. The puzzles were fun and engaging with some techniques we'd never seen before. All the puzzles flowed well. We skipped one by accident, it would have helped shave some time to get us the record for two people. Absolutely the best room we did in the area and I wish we were coming back to do their future rooms. Maybe some day!!

Really creative room. Lots of unique puzzles that give great laughs and memories. The game master was engaged and the location was convenient.

Very immersive, great story, different type of escape room. More high tech than most. Wish there were more puzzles.

Not really a puzzle room, more of an interactive game where you compete with others using your senses. I loved the concept and it delivered to my expectations. It took all different parts of your mind and body to complete all the individual tasks you're assigned. If you're at the GSR and want something unique to do that's not just gambling, I recommend this. I would recommend doing it with more than two people. We got finished REALLY fast!

Tagged this room on after doing another room at Nexus. If you're in the area, I highly recommend this location. They're doing things other places don't and making experiences that you won't get elsewhere. Their lobby was decorated well and the game master was very fun. Once you walk onto the beach of this room (there's actual sand once you enter) then you'll start feeling like this is real. There are unique puzzles that involved the story and theme without repetition. Some of the puzzles were unlike anything I've ever seen involving some high tech programming. I do wish I took them up on keeping shoes on and wearing their footies!
Rugrats: Search For The Losted Toys
The Escape Game - Las Vegas

The Escape Room locations are shared experiences with others. It was changed to individual parties during covid but brought back to shared now. I mention that because we did two rooms here. This one was the second one in a row. We escaped the first and then waited 20 minutes and right as we were told we would be going in, they said they had to wait for the rest to show up as they had just booked. 10 minutes later they show up, hadn't read the fine print and were upset about having to share with us. The game master told them and offered a solution of refunding their game and booking another time. Then they discussed for 10 more minutes. All in, we sat there waiting for 40 minutes and ended up doing the room alone. That time wasted was unappreciated. This was my second time going a "The Escape Room" location and the lobbies were nearly identical. Not very themed and pretty boring with some merchandise for sale. Once we got into this room, it was awesome! My wife loves Rugrats and it was definitely done well to invoke all the feels from the show. Puzzles were challenging yet do-able. None were extremely unique by any means. The last puzzle had us running to finish and we barely got done in time - which I found fun.

This theme/story is reused often however they did a good job of making it interesting. There is one puzzle involving a pellet gun that took us a while to complete because we were over thinking it.
Alice's Dream
Mind Twist Escape Experience
Escape room
IRL
Located inside a mall, easy to find once you get inside. The room was interestingly located across a hallway from the actual lobby, which was very nicely decorated. When we got inside the room, it felt like we were inside Alice's bedroom. It took us a bit to get started from here. After having done so many traditional puzzle rooms, breaking from looking for the obvious signs can be tough. This room is more immersive and unique. Puzzles are part of the story and the room together, they were not obvious at all. When we finally got started I thought I'd hate the room because of this but after finishing it I can say it's one of my favorites and I'm glad we did it while in Vegas.
Prison Bus Escape
Alcatraz Escape Games - Draper
Escape room
IRL
You get on the prison bus, they handcuff you in... the rest is history because you must escape! Really fun "room" with lots of interesting puzzles and a live actor involved. One of the puzzles involves a lot of math and I for the life of me kept messing up and the actor really applied pressure to make it fun. Our originally booked room was "Chloe" and due to snow we couldn't get there on time. They worked with us to find something else that would work the next day and I'm glad it was this one because of how unique the bus experience was. I'd hands down love to go back to Alcatraz Escape Room and do more of their rooms. Only call out - if it's cold out, make sure you wear appropriate clothes. You're basically outside in an unconditioned bus.

In Tahoe we've done a couple rooms and this one stands out as one of the best. Really immersive with some fun puzzles and a clear story line. There were some mechanical puzzles that didn't trigger right but they worked through it with us. The game master was REALLY nice and gave us a peak behind the scenes after we were done.
