PlaygroundThe Escape Game - New YorkEscape roomIRLGreat room with an original theme. Lots of really fun and interesting puzzles. Like most Escape Game rooms, the production value is great. My main criticism is that it’s a 12 person room. There is a lot to do, but in our 12 person group there was lots of standing around. Would be a better experience capped at 8. Also, while private rooms are of course best, I don’t mind public rooms when it’s just two groups. But due to the theme and room limit, there were four groups in our room, making it tough to share information.
Special Ops: Mysterious MarketThe Escape Game - New YorkEscape roomIRLCertainly one of the best escape rooms I’ve played. Great atmosphere, puzzles, and just overall gameplay. Only damper on my experience was that we may have had too many people. I’d say try to play with 4-5 people.

Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle60Out MelroseEscape roomIRLA really cool room. Great tech/mechanical elements. Cool atmosphere and production equality. I don’t recall the puzzles too well (completed in 2019), but I recall that there were some interesting ones mixed in.
The Pharaoh's TombThe Perfect EscapeEscape roomIRLGood production value, fun puzzles, and an overall great room. However, I played it about five years ago (2018) so I can’t speak to recent issues in other reviews (extremely bad dust, worn out room, etc)
Grandma's Masterplan60Out MelroseEscape roomIRLPretty solid room. The production value wasn’t amazing - especially compared to their Jumanji room I’d tried previously. That said, I suppose the set design/quality is fitting for the theme. A few of the puzzles were really interesting and innovated, but some were pretty generic. Didn’t really have much wow factor, but I love the out of the box theme, and it’s certainly worth doing.
The HeistThe Escape GameEscape roomIRLReally a great room, but maybe not the best from The Escape game. The puzzles were all interesting and satisfying, albeit maybe a bit easy. Also wish the room was a bit larger. I did it with a group of four and I certainly wouldn’t recommend going any larger than that for space and due to puzzle difficulty.
Inventor's AtticEscape My RoomEscape roomIRLGreat room. Quality production value, interesting puzzles, and the coolest escape room waiting room I’ve ever seen. Only downside is that we played in a group of six because it’s a public room, but the room is really more suited for 3-4 people.
Final FrontierMissing Pieces Escape GamesEscape roomIRLI really wanted to like this room because I want to support local companies, but I didn’t love this room. There were lots of puzzles so everyone had stuff to do, which was great. But the decor and production value left something to be desired - especially for a space themed room. The employees were above and beyond kind thought. I enjoyed myself but I wouldn’t recommend it to a friend.
Mission: MarsThe Escape GameEscape roomIRLIt was decent. Probably the worst I’ve played from The Escape Game, but compared to all escape rooms it’s still certainly above average. Wasn’t wowed by the puzzles but the atmosphere was enjoyable. My experience may have been a bit tainted though from a pretty bad public group.
