    tons of fun! loved the theming in this room. there were some really different “environments” throughout the game, but all sets were developed well. the clues and puzzles flowed well and the live actor integration didn’t feel unnatural and brought some *drama* to the game. the owners and game designers here CARE and it shows.

    this was the last of the 4 available rooms that we played at Escape Ventures and we loved it! definitely a unique approach to an escape room, but very memorable. the GM showed us the room with the lights on afterward which was really interesting to see.

    our favorite pirate room that we’ve done! the story was cute and silly, and the room and set were done spectacularly. the puzzles were a mix of challenging and simple, but nothing impossible. good for larger rooms based on space and number of puzzles!

    super fun room - less jump scare, more general creepiness and putting yourself into scary situations to get clues. did it with 2 people and made it out with just a couple minutes to spare! one note - the room is not super accessible - be sure to have someone on your team that isn’t scared to climb or squeeze in tight spaces!

    the theming and effects were great and the room was well done. i didn’t love the style of “puzzles” in this room and didn’t feel like i had a lot of direction (even with the written “instructions”). honestly, this would be a great game for kids to participate in though because it’s a fun theme, not scary, and there’s tons of instruct-able, hands-on components for them to help with.

    loved this room! the theme was so present through and through and i loved the storyline. it wasn’t overly difficult and was a super cute game. great for smaller teams or people that want a brain workout, but not a full brain marathon.

    This is a great room for beginners. We really enjoyed it as enthusiasts, but it was nice for our partners to have puzzles that were not solely cipher themed or otherwise super challenging. Theme is super cute, room is very well decorated.

    We opted for the 90 min version of this room that is “harder”- not worth the money, defer that option. This game is not for enthusiasts- and honestly it is quite difficult for beginners. There were several times we knew how to solve a puzzle, but it was so convoluted, we had to keep guessing or asking for nudges to get there.

    I liked this one! Obviously a lower budget facility but I thought this one was well thought out- a few puzzles were kind of silly, but all in all, given the location and everything, and price- I’d recommend it if you’re in this area.

    Strongly recommend just sticking to the cabin room here. I did not enjoy this one at all. We are usually able to figure things out pretty well, but this one was just… all over the place. There were some puzzles/ideas I really liked, and others that frustrated us to the point that it wasn’t fun anymore. If you’re struggling with the hints/clues- it’s not a great sign.
