The 13th Room

This room was very immersive and definitely scary. The live actor was really involved and provided that extra scare element. Our group felt the puzzles were challenging and flowed well. If you do plan on doing this room use the bathroom before hand as there are none at the building. Experience could have been 10/10 if they game didn’t start 25 min late.

We enjoyed this room as it was super high tech with some difficult puzzles. The game was immersive and I loved the different types of puzzles elements that were included. Though I couldn’t really nail down the theme/overall objective to get out of the room, it was still worth the try.

Overall the room is great for anyone who is looking to try an escape room for the first time. However, I felt that the room lacked a bit of theme and alignment on puzzles. There was some really cool tech within the room but overall just lacked a good flow. The puzzles were a good challenge but nothing too difficult to solve.

The room was very techy but everything worked! The theme was great and it felt like you could see you progress after ever puzzle. The puzzles were fairly easy but great concept on how they worked together. Our group completed it with 3 ppl but I feel up to 6 would also work!

This escape room was super solid and would recommend this to anyone who is new to doing escape rooms. The puzzles were a good challenge and you can help each other out on each puzzle! Huge shoutout to our Game Master Myles. He gave us great hints and played the role really well.

This was room was not worth the time and money. For starters our game master was uninterested and rushed us out the waiting room to begin our game. The ‘largest escape room in OC’ was really just 3 floors of locks, signs, and dolls with no creativity in the rooms whatsoever. Our group made it to the last puzzle and would have escaped if we were given an extra 2 mins but the game master ended it abruptly confirming my suspicion that he wanted us out of the room (our reservation was the last window for the night). Highly highly DONT recommend doing this room. From this experience alone I will not be interested in Puzzle Amazement’s other rooms in the future. P.S. If you know a group is on the last puzzle be a good game master and give them extra time (these things aren’t cheap anymore)

This room was sick!!! As a someone that enjoys hip-hop and producing it was really cool to see the puzzles that were involved. Room was full of different types of puzzles and were a good challenge!

Really enjoyed this room! Had a lot of great puzzles and was fairly non-linear. If you have a bigger group (5-6 ppl) it is a great room to play.

Absolutely loved the room and how they incorporated Stranger things elements. Though the room and puzzles weren’t the most high tech, it still was a great experience. We had 5 in our group and I felt that was the sweet spot for this room. If you love anything Stranger Things I would highly recommend the room.

Great set design in the room and theme! Set in the prohibition era, your team is looking to uncover a hidden speakeasy. Upon entering the room it did feel overwhelming with all the props but it made it that much more immersive. I would say this room was difficult and would recommend to players who have done a handful of escape rooms. Such a fun experience!
