Secrets, Myths & LegendsPuzzle Rooms CanadaEscape roomIRLLikely my favourite puzzle room location. Unfortunately it’s closed permanently. But Jason designed amazing puzzles and creative rooms. This room was playable twice. Once regularly then again as a “kid” level. Small puzzle overlap, but ingenious way of doing it. Very much missed.
Da Vinci's OfficeConfundrum Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLFirst time at Confundrum! Our gm was great. Kat was enthusiastic, friendly and eager to adapt her hint system to what we wanted. The room was physically small, but 3 of us could play quite well. I think 5 people (room max) would be crowded. It was a dark room, they provided small flashlights. Was quick paced and fun. An over all great experience. We’ll be back for sure
Purple Is The New BlackKW EscapeEscape roomIRLOur first room at kw escape… and we were hooked. Inventive room, some twists I’ve never seen or heard of before and amazing accommodating staff. I would think it’s their easiest one and a good place to start there. There are a few tech aspects, but mostly just really good escape room. Room is well lit which is nice.
VortexKW EscapeEscape roomIRLAwesome room. Contained some elements that we never dreamed possible. Our 13 year old daughter loved it. Staff, as always, fantastic. Room functioned well with a mix of tech and mechanical puzzles.
ShaftedBingemans ScreamparkEscape roomIRLThis is our last and probably favourite room here. The rooms are all very dark though. Our game master was attentive and helpful and immediately responded to hints requests/questions. The main part we didn’t like (not room specific but applies to all rooms here) is that you get 1 hint free and every hint thereafter results in losing 5 minutes of time. However the hints were solid and always resulted in us being very clear what our next step was.
The Mayor's OfficeAdventure Rooms Canada - Kitchener Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLLoved this room. They are old school escape rooms and the immersive-ness isn’t as a big a deal, but, since we go for the puzzles anyway, it works. Great room overall.

Contains puzzles that are quick and some that require some concentration. Awesome staff and help given when we needed it. Small and not a lot of tech… but very much worth the trip.

Wizard's InitiationExitus Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThis room was frustrating to us. We perhaps weren’t in the right mind set that night. We did horribly. That being said, I think the room is great. We got bogged down on one of the first puzzles. We were relatively new to escape rooms and didn’t want to wimp out to ask for clues, that being said, perhaps a friendly nudge would have been in order. The staff was fantastic though.
