La Cathédrale Oubliée [The Forgotten Cathedral]
Escaparium Laval
Escape room

Okay literally what are you talking about with this game 🤯🤯 was this five stages? Six? Every time something else was revealed we were like, there's MORE?! This theme slash level of creep (not scare) is not my usual fare but no enthusiast should miss this room. As with others at this business, the build quality is off the charts, but each in a totally different way. The scale of this one is just beyond and will make you feel like, wow someone made ALL THIS just so I could enjoy it for 90 minutes?! Just outstanding, and the puzzles particularly in the first half really add to the immersive journey, rather than feeling like things you solve inside the space.

How do I convince everyone to play this without giving away a single thing?? 🙉🤯🤯 There are things that happen in here that not only have I not seen anywhere else, I never expected to see, not sure I thought were even possible. That someone made this with their own two hands without a department of Imagineers has me literally taken aback. The puzzles are fun though the interaction and set are more the star of the show... This was like a cross between a personalized playground and being in a movie for 2h. Ten out of five stars 🤩

They say this room is AI-controlled, but it felt totally different than what I imagined that might mean. If anything it felt more personalized and interactive, not less. A really warm and funny game that's just fun to be inside of, and contemplating the tech/wiring/programming that must be involved behind the scenes is 🤯🤯🙉. Definitely heed the 4 person max to ensure you can see everything on the adventure.

Really cute! A "real stuff" set rather than high tech immersion, but so many details from the series you do feel like you're playing in that world :) some great effects and overall just fun to play. Fans of the show will find a million references

The Escape Game - Columbus
Escape room

This is so fun I recommend it to everyone. I was able to solo it when I was there which was 😅😅 but I got it done and had a really good time. Some of the puzzles might be too straightforward for advanced players but the experience is very fun, and with some cool things still to discover.

This is such a cool and unique experience, every enthusiast within a radius of Columbus should get this on their scorecard. In shock that the owner accomplished this level of build quality, programming and puzzle by himself! Imagineer quality. The puzzles are unique and challenging, maybe approaching the too-tough side for our duo... Some unique elements I was very amused by. Awesome experience.

This is an experience that is a bit hard to explain. It's like 7 (and counting) mini escape rooms with 2-3 progressive levels each, and each level is 1-3 minutes long. You have two hours to move through whichever of them you want- but when you guess wrong you fail out of the mini room and have to restart it at level 1 each time. There is a fair amount of climbing and crawling required to win all of the games, and a good variety of other puzzles and dynamics. In two visits we haven't finished all the rooms, and looking forward to see what they add next!

This was a brilliant little mini game to introduce the concept of an escape room to first time players who might be curious or on the fence about whether they wanted to try a full game! Fun on its own or to fill a gap between things, a quick 15 min escape styled as part of the waiting room of the business. Brilliant idea.
Le Jubilé d'Or [The Golden Jubilee]

I loved this but don't want to spoil anything by telling you why! The beginning is very Seven Dwarfs' Mine Train, really cool inside. Some of the puzzles I loved, some felt not as in keeping with the theme, although were still fun. An awesome surprise...I don't see this room working for any physical disability though sadly.

Not only is this fun and adorable, the novelty and whimsy of being inside a scaled lego house where everything is made of legos is itself worth the price of admission. As noted by others these puzzles are scaled for kids but still fun to step through as adults, and the use of technology keeps everything feeling snappy and paced. Don't skip this one just bc it seems "easy", the experience is worth it.
