Malediction is such a fun room! I personally loved the use of a “live actor”! It definitely felt like an experience than an escape room, especially if you play “Dark Mode”. If you’re not into anything that’s got adult content I’d do the family friendly version instead. We didn’t know going into the adventure that it was going to be the way it was but it was so much fun. Madi and Tiff were great hosts and we loved getting to interact with in game characters. Some of the puzzles were a little finicky but it happens. If you’re playing later at night good luck trying to get in the building 😂 it was locked and luckily some guy was leaving so we just snuck in lol.

Had decently high hopes but unfortunately it wasn’t the best. Most puzzles didn’t make sense and the ones that did almost seemed pointless. There were things that seemed like they were previous puzzles that were in the room that either got scrapped or just horrible red herrings. There’s one specific lock that is practically impossible to open even with the correct combination.

This game is definitely for the horror fanatics and the ones who love scare. I really don’t do well in super scary environments and this almost made me tap out. If I wasn’t with my friends I would of lost it 😂 that being said it was still a very interesting room. Lots of puzzles I’ve never seen before and interesting concepts. We loved our game master Tiff, they were super sweet!!

Red Giant is another fun game from quest!! There’s elements that were awesome to see and a couple REALLY fun parts that I’ve never gotten to do in a room before. If you play, bring someone who’s very patient 😂

The Ministry Of Peculiarities

As soon as you walk through the door you’re immediately transported to the ministry. Our gm played along with all of our silliness before the actual game had even begun. The set, the puzzles, the live actor, everything about this game is amazing. From the time we entered the building till when we left, it was the most immersive experience I’ve ever experienced. I would highly recommend to anyone and I’ll definitely be back to play again with a different group too!

We had lots of fun!! The difficulty is great if you’ve played a good amount of rooms! Without spoilers, there were a couple things that needed an audio to them when stuff happened. Lots of things to do inside and I personally love non-linear rooms so this was right up my alley! I’m not a fan of super scary rooms so this was definitely tolerable!

My friends and I had a blast, I will say it was challenging with only 3 people and 2/3 having minimal escape room experience. The game itself was a lot of fun! My only “complaint” is that our gm when giving us hints was just talking to us like normal, no character for the hint system or something. It would be very easy to take on a “teacher” role, talking to your students who just need to finish their assignments rather than “hey did you guys see the ____?”

As someone who doesn’t like scary this was a fun room! There wasn’t many parts where I felt extremely scared or eerie. There’s a lot to do with not a crazy amount of direction. Definitely worth checking out!
