CAN YOU KEEP YOUR SANITY? Upon the death of Vince Millar, you embark on an investigation of Millar Manor in search of his Last Will and Testament. At the behest of his loyal butler, no authorities are to be involved as you brave the old Manor’s strange goings-on. But there are forces working against you. This room is a good cooperative room. You really have to rely on your team-mates. The only thing I didn’t like was if you didn’t have the right certain amount of players then you didn’t get to do some of the puzzles because there are so many and the more teammates you have the better experience you will have. But otherwise great immersive room. Just ask the staff what the number of people you should have to make it a full experience .

I found this room to be annoying. The room started as very cool and immersive. The puzzles broke the immersion at times. While some people might enjoy “optional puzzles,” as someone who has played many rooms I found this irritating. The lighting that was likely there to add to the immersion made some puzzles difficult for no reason. Not my favourite room to be honest

This room has a very well designed and looks very intriguing based on cosmetics alone. That being said, the puzzles lack wow factor and do not necessarily fit in well with the theme. Some of the puzzles felt a little random which led to a bit of broken immersion. This room also features many optional puzzles which I am personally not a big fan of in escape rooms. You are working towards achieving the best score as opposed to completing the room quickly.

Another fun room at Escape Games Canada! I liked how this room gives you the option to solve side puzzles, which is great for larger groups and experienced players. Since I did this room with first time escape room players, we only focused on the main puzzles. There were one or two of the main puzzles that didn’t feel like it fit with the ongoing theme of the room, but we still found them fun to solve. Great set, fun (spooky-ish) vibes. Worth checking out!

This game had a really cool set, and would have been much better with a larger group. We were frustrated with the “theatrical lighting”—I hate puzzles that are only hard because it’s dark. And the final puzzle was frankly an absurd thing to have in an escape room. Disappointing!

This was a solid room. I don’t always love what Escape Games is doing with games adapting to players (it seems forced and can be frustrating), but this time it didn’t interfere with our game play. It was fun to have side quests we could do when we knew we had extra time.
