This was unfortunately one of the worst escape rooms I had personally played, despite having a very nice GM. The concept of the room starts off promising- your team is divided into two rooms, and you must work together to escape. One side has a one-way mirror, and the other has a one-way phone. It’s a very neat idea with how the communication is limited, but unfortunately the execution fell flat.

First off, the room is very barren. Our side was literally a room with one desk, one phone, and one metal cabinet. The walls and ceiling were plain. While I understand they were going for an office-interrogation room look, it didn’t accomplish that well. Some puzzles required outside knowledge, such as requiring you to list country names and capitals or knowing how to solve Sudoku. More than half of the “puzzles” just had you solving papers on the desk, which felt like doing the filler worksheets from elementary school during substitute teacher days, complete with crossword puzzles and math pattern sheets. 

Overall it was a great idea, but their idea of what puzzles should be and how a room should be decorated for immersion really needed work. The room has since been closed and replaced with something else though!
