The situation is simple, yet hopelessly complex. We have a nuclear launch sequence on our hands that we don't know how to deactivate. For whatever reason, the launch of these missiles is linked to this abandoned bunker which is full of riddles and puzzles we can't solve. That's where you come in, we're told you're somewhat of a specialist when it comes to this. We only have one hour until untold destruction and no doubt the end of the cold war and the start of an apocalyptic one.

This was a frustrating experience, the clue system at Fox in a Box is not one that I like. Once you get a clue, you must wait 10 minutes before you can ask for another and the clues just come through on a TV screen so there is no verbal contact with the GM. This meant that we spent far too long on a puzzle that we had found an answer for that logically was correct but an element in the room was wrong so our answer was wrong. If the clue system was better and teams were able to have a back and forth with the GM then this experience would have been much better and we would have escaped on time. The puzzles in the game, at least the ones that weren’t broken, were actually quite good and the set was nice. My experience was about 2 years ago so perhaps the clue system has improved since and if that is the case then I could see this being a decent room.
