It was a bit dark even after the lights came on. The whole two-finger rule and don't force it doesn't necessarily apply here. It didn't seem like the GM was paying attention much because I had done some thing ten minutes prior and she didn't say anything. Finally, she did.
A bit dark but the set design was cool.

Our GM Chris was great! His clues were helpful but didn’t give anything away. He was friendly and talkative, and gave us great recommendations for other games to play.
My GM Chris was lovely! He was so friendly and his clues were perfect- lead us in the right direction without giving anything away.

Not accessible for mobility (stairs and steps), nor vision (super dark), but okay for hearing impairments and and color blindness.

This was the most immersive and authentic escape room I’ve done. It is a relatively dark room, so flashlights are helpful. Many of the puzzles were really unique and creative. I’m definitely going to try Solve It Sherlock’s other rooms!

A wonderfully well themed room based upon the New Jersey folklore centered around the Jersey devil. This room is very immersive and even goes to the lengths of being scented like a forest. Overall, this room is great for beginners and experts alike. The storyline is well thought out and has a nice flow.

Legend of the Pines is a fun game built around the story of the Jersey Devil. I appreciate when designers try to tie their games to local lore or history, and appreciate it even more when the game really works! This one takes place at the cabin of a park ranger who has been studying the Jersey Devil for years. Can the clues they leave behind help you prove the existence of this elusive mythical creature? The set is very well done with attention to detail, right down to the scent of the pines. The ranger’s cabin is exactly what you would envision one to be like. The finale to the game made excellent use of the space. It’s worth playing just to experience this delightful reveal! Puzzles were easy to medium difficulty with a mix of searching, observing and logic. Newbie-friendly but enjoyable for experienced players, too. One puzzle gave us a challenge with interpretation of the cluing and use of the puzzle device. There is opportunity to improve it, especially since the GM acknowledged it’s an issue. Legend of the Pines is a good game for anyone looking for a good balance of scenery, puzzles and a story with local flavor. Book this game and tell them you found it on Morty.
Super friendly GM. Tony did a great job hosting our game.

They had a tech issue prior to our arrival and offered to let us play another game. We played anyway and it did not affect gameplay.

It might be difficult to find if not for the multiple signs pointing the way through the parking lot. Also they sent a reminder email day prior with directions. Very thoughtful.

All I will say is that it one of the better sets I’ve seen for an escape room! Puzzles were unique and the storyline was *chef kisses*. Im a sucker for really feeling like I’m in a movie, and this one really made me feel like I was in a horror film!
The staff was incredibly nice and spent time talking to us about their other escape rooms and just really having an informal conversation with Sam!

Out of the 70 + games I’ve done, this room is placed somewhere on my top 3. It was the first room I found zero faults and so much amazement. It was perfect all around. The set design was so realistic and that made our mission worthwhile. Every single puzzle fit so well with the theme!!!! By far the most satisfying ending to any room I’ve done so far. ( it kinda made me emotional)
A gem
