Once Upon A Time

This was a very nice "homegrown" room. The owners clearly take pride in their work. We enjoyed playing this game, but we did find some frustration with some things in the room. Some of the puzzles, when solved, were unclear as to if they had been solved or not. We also found it frustrating that clues were given via text messaging. This caused a delay in game play for us.

I liked this room; I like long rooms. One of the room transitions was something I’d never seen before and I loved it! The method of clue giving was overwhelming at first but once you get the hang of it it makes things go pretty quickly. There was only one clue that was not intuitive to me and one mechanical issue that took a lot of time to fumble with. We needed a few hints but overall a fun room.

Some good puzzles and nice design. I would play as a smaller group as a larger group would have a lot of people standing around. Most experienced players should not have any issue finishing well under 90 min.

Good set design, some fun puzzles. The game suffers from a flow issue, and a “here’s a clue for every puzzle you’ll see for the rest of the room right away” issue. The room also had no ambience, soundtrack or background noise of any kind, which was an issue they were dealing with. Enthusiasts will likely kill it (our group of 3, 2 enthusiasts and a friend that’s played around 6 games) got out with 35+ minutes to spare. The room was quite linear in spite of the aforementioned information overload.

A Very fun room with a simple theme that works will. The staff was super nice.

Not for beginners. A person should have tried at least 10 escape rooms before attempting this one. It’s interesting, just a little hard to follow.

A very fun room like all the other at this location. Lots of easter eggs to fairy tales. A very good room for children and lots of interesting solves. a lot of reveals felt very satisfying for a group full of adults.

It was fun! Tough enough to get you going but logical enough to finish it. Good room, recommend. 90 minutes!
