This is one of my new favorites from TEG. I personally enjoyed how linear this game was and how innovative and dynamic the design of the gameplay and environments were. As a puzzle lover, this one shines bright as the newest release from TEG and makes me very anxious to see where the next design goes!
This game is a very linear play style, which I personally enjoy a lot! For our team of 4, the most puzzles allowed for each player to take a position in the game and be a part of the puzzle solve. Probably my favorite puzzle concepts from all of the escape game rooms. The experience flowed very well from puzzle to puzzle.
The Timeliner train was decorated with wonderful embellishments of the future. Each additional time period we traveled to, whether virtual or physical felt dynamic in sound and scenic design.
As always, Troy and the rest of their team at TEG are welcoming and excited to have us!
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
Individual themes within this game could feel overused, but seeing the complication in the way they were presented in the over-arching storyline of time-travel felt refreshed.
Great setup to a clear and thorough storyline that weaved in and out of different time periods!
Lots of little detail to appreciate, but the puzzles are obvious and flow well.
Lots of high tech elements in sound, lighting and additional special effects, but still a great use of traditional lock and physical tasks.
2-3 players for an experienced group is good!

Accessibility
There is a sound puzzle at the start. Unsure if additional pieces could be provided for non-hearing individuals.
Parking
This location is downtown, but a public parking garage is available right across the street.
