The Mayan adventure is not an uncommon theme in the industry - this room was a pleasant surprise on our drive down to Vegas. Puzzles were high tech and felt well integrated. The owner we spoke to was an absolute gem, incredible welcoming and willing to talk above the rooms and industry - she was great. Would absolutely visit again when they have another room to do.

I actually did this one as a couple which they don’t normally do but they did it for us. Tbh the final puzzle wasn’t for me, but I talked to the room architect and he told us he was planning on editing it

The set is well done and you get a chance to move rooms a couple times which I really enjoy. It is linear. No traditional locks which is fun.

99% language-independent, this room excels with its set and the puzzles’ direct integration with the set. However, it’s not a very novel theme, though the room flows really well. The final puzzle is a bit of a let down, as it’s just a giant labyrinth ball maze.

Gameplay

99% language independent! Making connections and interacting with the environment is key! An sound-based puzzle in the first room was especially neat! However, having played multiple Aztec-type rooms, some puzzles ran together.

Atmosphere

The set was very well designed! Unfortunately, some people trying to interact with things they should not interact with caused some small pieces of set dressing to be ripped off the floor. You interact with totems, ropes, icons, wheels, mirrors, and more! Everything felt very on theme.

Customer service

They are the best. So friendly. So very cool.

Particularly interesting or different

Yes

A nice sound puzzle at the beginning and being barely language-independent were both pretty novel.

Difficulty

Medium

Fair but not without its challenges.

Game tech

High tech

No traditional locks at all!

Ideal number of players

There’s never much for multiple groups to do, so I think a small group is best.

Was anything broken?

Yes

Some of the set dressing due to abuse. The final puzzle is a labyrinth; though it’s not strictly broken, they basically have a workaround built in place, as it is pure dexterity and very little to puzzle.
