Houdini's Magic Cell

This might have been one of my least favorite rooms I’ve played. From the moment we realized we were walking into a mall, it just kept falling short. It was a strange concept. You are in a room and have yo ‘master card tricks’. That’s not a spoiler… it tells you in the description. I thought there would be more to it than that… there wasn’t. It was no escape…. A Houdini themed room could have been such a cool concept… this was not. The staff was high and came in smelling of weed when a clue was needed (not judging… just a strange time to decide to get high) and had to go get their cheat sheets to help us. There were clues given that weren’t even needed for the game. The GM literally threw it aside and said, “you don’t even need this.” 😐 We left feeling really disappointed.
