Our experience was a good while ago, so while it's possible that things have changed, I doubt it considering the money grab we find Breakout to be.
We've done 500 rooms and consider this one of the worst. Insanely linear, logic leaps, unsatisfying. This was early on in our escape room obsession, so our standards were much lower and we still hated it.
I want to say at the time they were allowing groups of up to 8 players in this tiny, linear room. It's still the most linear room we've ever done, and I can't imagine having more than two people in there.
I'd look up reviews and comments on an escape room enthusiasts group, and wouldn't trust their high ratings. My guess is that they pay for or make fake accounts to submit reviews. Could be wrong of course. I think they offered something to us for a 5 star review as well, so maybe it's just that practice? I'd steer clear, but if you must, do Undercover Alley. That one is not designed by them and is decent.
Particularly interesting or different
No
Would have probably been very easy if there weren't logic leaps and a prop that didn't function properly.
One puzzle didn't work properly and we spent quite a while trying other solutions because other things were ambiguous and we just figured this was too.
