Dr. Frankenstein lost his wife and daughter and has made it his sole mission to resurrect them from the dead! First he must perfect the procedure before attempting it on his loved ones! There is a very small window of time to help him complete his goal. Do you have what it takes to successfully complete the experiment?

I didn’t love how they wouldn’t tell you how the room finished, but rather offered 25% to come back and play again. We are from out of town and most likely won’t be back, so knowing how the room finishes would have been nice.
We felt like the flow was a bit off. Puzzles didn’t lead from one to the next, it was just mushed mashed.

Escape May Overall: I have been going to Wildwood Crest / Cape May just about every year since I was a kid, so it thrills me that there is a really high quality escape room company in my favorite place on the Jersey Shore! This is truly a family operated business with the help of very close friends, and they are all incredibly warm and inventive and enthusiastic. Their rooms are very high quality, challenging, affordable, and inviting. I was not expecting as great an escape room experience as I was at Escape May This Room: This is one of the hardest rooms I’ve done, and one of the very few I have not been able to escape. That didn’t sit well with one of my teammates but personally I like being stumped! The added difficulty comes in partially because it’s effectively scary (some jump scares, but no live actors!), very dark, and the ambient sounds adds a lot to stress factor. Many of the puzzles were multi-step and others I definitely over thought. But the last big one that got me really got me. The room was so well done though that…I didn’t care! Just go in knowing it’s hard as hell and may scare ya!

My best friend, and I never did a room from this company before, and we chose the hardest room they have. With the 9% escape rate odds were against us. We escaped, but with more than four clues so it didn’t count. The ambience was on point, as it is a “scary” room. The puzzles were logical and fun. Jason our game master is one of the best we’ve ever had so I highly recommend you request him if you ever do a room to this place. Oh, and not a spoiler but if you need more than four clues, you will work for them and oh my God that Ole Moe was worth the trip. We’ve done over 90 rules this one ranks up there amongst my favorites.

We have played one other room here and it was great so thought we try out Frankenstein’s Monster. We didn’t know when we booked that this is one of their hardest rooms (9% escape rate) but we were up for a challenge. The game master was great explained the rules and let us know it was dark in the room. We have done many rooms many dimly lit but he wasn’t lying, this room was dark. In my opinion unnecessarily dark, the darkness made things hard to see. It was dark just to be dark and didn’t really support the puzzles. The puzzles were fun and clever and the rooms decor was nice. We only got half way through the room and was just not fun for anyone.
