Attn. Agent, your mission should you choose to accept it: pull off the ultimate museum heist. A priceless Monet painting has recently gone missing from the Barclay Museum of Historical Art. We have reason to believe it’s been nabbed by the museum’s curator, Vincent Hahn. Your mission — slip through the museum galleries undetected, break into Hahn’s office, recover the painting, and high-tail it out of there before he returns! The Heist is the second escape room we released and it still remains one of our most popular games to this day!

The first room in this multi room was very promising. It doesn’t look like an escape room until you really start exploring and finding hidden puzzles. Then it all goes downhill. The theme got a bit muddled. One of the puzzles wasn’t working. And our GM basically tried to walk us through the whole room step by step even though we said we didn’t want hints unless we asked. The company doesn’t make bad rooms, but this is our least favorite of the 6 or so we’ve played at The Escape Game.

This one was fun, especially the first room. Good for beginner/intermediate players. Loved how many things there are to interact with.

Very fun game loved the puzzles kinda challenging but overall fun

I would recommend 4 people for non beginners. The puzzles were not the most inventive, but the production value is great and it flows well.
A little on the easier side, but good production value

I really liked this room! Some cool elements, a clear storyline, and logical puzzles. The game masters were also cool. It starts out easy and progressively gets harder, which I enjoyed.

Overall it was an amazing room! It was a little frustrating that we asked for no nudges unless it’s something completely obvious that maybe we didn’t notice- like a door opening for example that maybe we didn’t notice. What happens, a door opens and we walked around for 15 minutes not understanding! It was quite annoying, especially since we were going so quick and actually gave them the example! They also mentioned that another puzzle is so particular that if not done perfectly precise, it won’t trigger - if that is the case and it’s a brand new game, it should be fixed! The other issue is that these games are public and can hold up to 8 people. Huge issue on this as 1) there is not enough things to do for 8 people 2) the rooms are physically not big enough for 8 people. I can’t believe that they offer these rooms as public, especially when they will allow late entries to your game after it starts. HUGE issue with that. They offer to book the game private, but it will double your price and is totally not worth it. These games are only worth it if you have your core group and they don’t let other people join. It really ruins the experience and becomes a waste of money.
The gameplay was so much fun. It really was a good time had by all. It was nice to do a new game that actually was fun!
Set was pretty and they spent a lot of time and attention to detail.
Game master Ken was amazing! What fun and enthusiastic energy they had.
