Find yourself in a secret genetics lab on Isla Nublar and use your wits to solve a serious problem: an apex predator has broken free and is headed your way. This escape room has more teeth (and claws) than anything you’ve experienced before.

I liked how straightforward it was. I think some of the tasks were a bit long for the time allotted. I would recommend to most people but especially to first timers and people who like the movie franchise.
It was very fun and straight forward, definitely geared towards people who have probably not done escape rooms.
I liked it! It wasn’t like find things in odd places and reach for them, more so visually find information in odd places.
Great hospitality always.

Warning: This was not an escape room. This was a themed walkthrough with unintuitive tasks to complete while the rooms story passes by you. It’a a fun experience, but it shouldn’t be misunderstood as an escape room, not at this price point. If you don’t complete tasks, you are still ushered through the game because more are coming through after you. It’s a strange hybrid that doesn’t gel as well as the Back to the Future Ride.
Completing tasks weren’t mandatory to move on.
Epic price point, epic effects.

An experience of this caliber should be focused on the “fun” factor and player dynamic and it, unfortunately, didn’t deliver in those ways. An escape room [as mentioned countless times here before] it is not. This is a walkthrough story-experience with few tasks implemented to assist with driving the story. There are puzzly tasks that will regenerate once completed successfully to make use of the allotted time frame in each room. While in some cases we appreciated the opportunity to redo a rewarding action, more often those redone attempts became tedious as we were ready to progress. This experience is designed as a “people mover”. Which is used to get a number of guests through the experience in timed blocks in order for each group to progress together regardless of puzzle success. My biggest upset would be the final “puzzle” where we were only given [what felt like] 2 minutes to complete before being progressed forward. The final “puzzle” felt unintuitive and then we proceeded to move into additional rooms with no puzzles. So our team spent the remainder of the walkthrough pondering what that puzzle meant as we were just ushered through more environments with story purpose, but no interactive elements to add to the finale. This felt odd and left us unsatisfied - not ideal for an end of “escape room” experience. If you go for a story-focused walkthrough, the effects are relatively cool and the environments are standard and clean. At this price point, it is nothing worth running to. We were told we would be in the experience for a full 60 minutes, but we’re out in under 50, including introduction briefing outside the room.
If I could, I would give the game play a thumb to the right. This experience had a few solid puzzles concepts that were enjoyable and blended creative elemental theming with the underlying sense of plot-urgency. My issue exists with the over-delivered audio/video storytelling that, in my opinion, took away the “fun” factor that this game did possess at its core. Some rooms required audio instruction to cue your starting place, which became frustrating when you knew what to do, but simply didn’t know there was a correct order to listen for. This was a common frustrating element of the GAME. I wanted to just go an have fun. Not stop and start at each room.
Spaces were themed fine and clean. Lots of monitors and screens with barricaded details that felt indicative of a museum more than an escape room. One room near the middle felt separated from the previous square rooms with concrete walls. This helped breakup the spaces and made the transition to this environment fresh and interesting. Many rooms to explore.
The greeter was friendly and inviting. The rule briefing team members were courteous while following scripted guidelines. The host at our games conclusion was helpful in answering our questions. Overall everyone was kind while working at 10:30-11:30pm at a theme park.

An excess amount of story was this experiences downfall, in my opinion. While a story is needed for great room, puzzle and narrative progression, listening to countless instruction at the beginning and end of each room became a very daunting task. At times, it was overwhelming.

There is one startling element to this experience. Some may consider it a jump scare. There are also moments of darkness and suspense/thrill.

Very frustrating to be pushed along to the next room just as we were finishing a puzzle on more than one occasion. Sets were very built out, but a bit sameish from room to room. The Back to the Future one was much better.

I understand why there are mixed reviews. It’s called “Universal’s Great Movie ESCAPE” and this game is “Jurassic World: ESCAPE”—yet they keep reminding you it’s not an escape room. The guided adventure is a lot of fun, and was a little more approachable for some of those in our group that are newer to escape room style games. The technology was incredible, and four people is definitely the right number to do it with. I can’t wait to eventually do Back to the Future!
Quick and guided gameplay. Didn’t spend time searching much for clues.
Holy crap the technology, sets, and props were absolutely stunning. And so many rooms!
The staff was very kind and welcoming.

It was very different than an escape room, and wouldn’t even be classified as one.
The plot was fine. It was fun to have a larger adventure and tasks to do, rather than just trying to leave.

You have to park at Universal. We are annual pass holders, so it was easier for us.

This was fun but more of an experience than an escape room. Groups advance from room to room after a set amount of time whether or not the puzzles are solved. Think of it as a golf course. When your team moves to the next room, another tees up behind you in the previous room. The system advances all teams to their next room simultaneously.
Very different flow than a traditional escape room.
Completely immersive. Top notch effects and props.
Staff was very friendly.

I think the bad reviews are a little unfair. The staff are very upfront about this not really being an escape room but more of an adventure. I thought several of the puzzles were very fun, though I do feel slightly cheated as I am sure I got a few correct and the computer didn’t give it to me.

To all the negative reviews… people are missing the point that this is not an escape room experience but an immersive experience with some escape room puzzles/elements. Please go in with an open mind and try enjoying this experience for different reasons. Our experience was phenomenal. The staff and the team know their audience and the sets we’re insanely detailed. The puzzles were enjoyable. Overall the flow is good. Just know you do get pushed into different rooms after some time limit. I’d definitely recommend playing if you want to try something unique than the normal escape room experience. This was truly an escape adventure!!!

Ugh. What a let down. There are some cool moments and the the atmosphere is rad (minus the anticlimactic ending that felt like it was gonna be amazing and was just sorta lackluster). Repetitive puzzles that were pointless. More time should be given to later rooms. This feels more like an interactive line to a ride than an escape room. Way overpriced and parking is nuts (because it’s at the theme parks). It’s also hella expensive to park. We got one free parking comp for a group of 6 so that was an additional cost. Just overall disappointing. They needed to do more testing. The timing is way off.
Puzzles were too easy and too repetitive
