On March 18, 1990, 13 works of art valued at USD500 million were stolen from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston. In the early hours, guards admitted two men posing as police officers responding to a disturbance call. Once inside, the thieves tied up the guards and over the next hour committed the largest-value recorded theft of private property in history. Despite efforts by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and multiple probes around the world, no arrests have been made and no works have been recovered. Now, we would like you guys to team up, replay the scene, and see if you can solve the case…
69 escape rooms
This room has the classic art heist theme. Most puzzles were pretty predictable, but it did have one or two that were unique. One thing I didn’t like was that it was possible to “escape” before completing all objectives. It’s worth giving a shot, especially for the price. NB: the room is advertised as being available in Mandarin and English, but hints are only given in Mandarin so bring a translator if you can.
