Batman: The Dark Knight Challenge

Several puzzles were broken. The clues, when the puzzles didn’t trigger, were random and not geared towards where we were in the game. The game master had to come in several times to open things because they were not triggering. Overall, not great.

Game was pretty easy to follow. I feel this would be a good one for beginners or kids. We flew through the game but still had fun. Not a lot of puzzles but some of the tech/story elements were neat.

It was a nice room but nothing crazy. There are definitely better rooms at escapology. The design of the room was okay and game flow was fine. It was an average/mid room. Wouldn’t recommend for a party more than 4 people. We did it with just 2 of us and it was more than fine.

It’s just bad. Immersion wise, it’s fine, if you played other escapology games you won’t be surprised other than I felt it was on the smaller side than their other rooms so big groups will find it cramp. The puzzles started off incredibly easy (basically felt like we were cleaning up the bat cave for Batman) The end puzzles were super obnoxious. No flow, story was meh. They are banking on the I.P. To lure people in which of course worked with us but we love escape rooms and ran out of ones to do in the area so we went to this one for that reason. It’s easily a skip though when you got way better options in Orlando.

I booked Batman: The Dark Knight Challenge because my partner is a Batman fan and this Escapology location just opened 8 days ago and we wanted to check it out. It didn’t disappoint and wasn’t overly challenging. The theme was great and we had fun. It had so many references to different Batman stories which added to the fun for him. I don’t know much about Batman and it was still enjoyable!
