Murder at the Mill

[Event Dates: July 26th, 2023 to September 3rd, 2023 at the Hatfield Watermill] Mill Green is a sleepy village where nothing much ever happens… that is, until a murder is discovered! The local constabulary are baffled—there’s only one thing to be done. They call on Clue Company, the world’s greatest detective agency, to see if its super-sleuths can crack the case. Are you and your fellow investigators up to the challenge? This escape room whodunnit will take you around the beautiful grounds of Hatfield’s 18th Century working watermill as you race against the clock to solve the crime. Choose your own route around the mill, tackling the challenges in whatever order you wish. Each puzzle you solve will give you another clue to the mystery: once you’ve gathered them all, it’s time to put your deduction skills to the test! Who committed the murder? Where did they do the deed? Which weapon did they use? These are the questions you and your team will need to answer. You’ll have exactly one hour to unravel the mystery and close the case. Entrance to the mill and museum is included in your booking, so once you’ve solved the mystery, you can explore the exhibitions at your leisure, take part in one of the Watermill’s many summer events, or celebrate your win with a cream tea at the Miller’s Kitchen café!
