The history of room 1986 Years ago, Dr. Harvey Hills, obsessed by the sudden death of his father, started to conduct research on ways to communicate with the dead. He invented a serum that, once injected, could serve as a gateway to speak to the other side. Over time, however, the serum started to reveal unfavorable side effects, and would turn his patients into walking corpses. Your task is to find Dr. Hills research and destroy it. Prevent the infection from spreading and protect yourself from the undead before it’s too late! Remember, the history of this room has left no survivors, so be careful. You never know what might be hiding in the shadows….

The room itself had great atmosphere but maybe to dark. However, we were stuck with technical difficulties on puzzle for probably 15-20 minutes. We figured it out quickly, and asked for a hint when it seemed like it wasn’t working. They basically said we are doing it right and to keep trying. Eventually it worked but it was frustrating because it gave us so little time to do most of the rest of the room. If a mechanical element isn’t working I’d much rather the host just step inside and give us whatever we need to proceed. That said, I did this room four years ago (2019) so this may be fixed now. Also, while our host wasn’t very friendly, the folks at the front desk were really funny and nice.

The room itself was great immersion, but the puzzles had a lot of technical difficulties or needed to be done in a very specific way that wasn’t super intuitive and made us get stuck when we had the right idea, but couldn’t get the exact right execution.

I really don’t know how to rate this one. I liked it ok, my group had a great night, but I would not recommend it to anyone. So take that as you will.

Aside from a very obvious puzzle that we didn’t catch on to - very fun game not too scary

The room was pretty challenging especially as a group of 2. The puzzles themselves weren’t too difficult but extra hands and eyes would definitely help. The sets were solid. I liked the fact that it’s not too scary so we could focus on the puzzles.

This was my first escape room experience! I liked it at the time, but looking back, it was not so good. The production was not the best, I didn't like the set.

Went in not expecting much based on the ratings, but we thoroughly enjoyed this room. Similar production value to all the Escape Hotel rooms- dark, spooky, generous puzzle volume with some satisfying intuitive puzzles. We found the difficulty level comparable to Resurrection, but less challenging than the Attic or Haunted Fair. Appreciated the way in which the medical theme was incorporated- having a medical background might speed up progression through one puzzle in particular.

Pretty average. Not my favorite at Escape Hotel, but still entertaining. Decor is great just like all of their other rooms.
