Iris Trenton may be a criminal but she has a firm set of rules. Two of those rules are: You don't use her stash houses without her permission and you don't mess with Christmas. Interpol has informed her both have happened as a smuggling operation has been using her network of places to move product. For her it's not about helping the police but the disrespect shown for a thief of her reputation. Going undercover she has infiltrated the operation and has begun to share intel with Interpol. The last thing she learned was a huge shipment was to go out Christmas Eve but before she could give details she went dark. 3 months later..... Det. Conrad Michaels has received a suspicious Christmas card in the mail. It has all the earmarks of one of Iris's games but she is in prison.
