A great and immersive escape room! Hosts were amazing! Loved the room so much we came back the next day for another room!

Tech driven room with great atmosphere and puzzles.

This was a fun room! I have played one other room at this location and enjoyed it a lot. They said I needed to come back and play this room next time…so I did! I wasn’t expecting anything over the top but I was excited about it. Definitely exceeded my expectations! Super fun and a great way to immerse in the local NYC feel! Your mission is to stop the speeding metro from crashing. But there’s surprises after you do…if you do! There were some clever puzzles in this room…some I’d never seen before and some of my faves. The high-tech ones were awesome. Easily done with 2 ppl who have at least a few rooms under their belts. For someone extremely experienced, it might could be done solo! For newbies, might want 3-4. Honestly for space though (it is NYC after all), 4 is getting to be a lot. Set design is fantastic and it is a great immersive experience! I’ve loved 2/3 of their rooms and I can’t wait to come back to close out the location!

The room was a little run down. One of the puzzles didn’t work and was stuck, other props were just heavily used. Also, the GM wasn’t paying attention to our game so when we asked for clues, he didn’t know where we were in the game.

This is a really cool conceived escape room! The subway car is particularly well designed, and lends itself to some unique puzzles I haven’t seen done in other rooms. Ambience is also cool I was with two friends, and we are very escape room savvy. This room was a bit of a breeze for our forces combined (until the last stretch where they gave us a tiny unprompted hint that had us facepalming). So it’s well designed, not particularly difficult if this isn’t your first rodeo. Still very fun! Loved our game master

This is a fun game that captures the NYC subway feel. Your mission is to stop a runaway subway thanks to the actions of a disgruntled conductor who abandons the train. The first part of the game is fast paced but the flow suffered some in the latter part of the game. It just didn’t feel as strong as the first act. We really liked the game host at Exit Escape Room. We played two games there in two days and they made us feel welcome to be back. Sometimes the person running your game or welcoming you to their business can make a difference. We’ve played a number of games in the NY area over the past few years, but so many of them are long gone. It’s great to see this business in midtown still running games, but they could use a refresh. The good news is that they have a new game opening soon. Play this game, and tell them you found it in Morty!

Really great game for an NYC location, and very immersive. The puzzles/room could do with a little touch up and update though. Out of the 3 rooms here, this one is definitely my favorite, and has the best flow/still has a good challenge to it. This company is definitely a great one for newer people to Escape Rooms as none of the rooms are too hard/overwhelming, and they have a really friendly and welcoming staff.

Come for the set, play for the fun varied puzzles. It’s a lot for two people but we made it. It’s easy to get immersed in the set but it’s a great story to travel through also. Highly recommend checking it out.
