Overall a fun room- different than typical themed as you’re trying to solve a mystery and not just escape. It is reading heavy as has been previously stated but not terrible- I’ve definitely had worse. Immersion is great. It’s fairly linear even if it doesn’t seem like it, so a smaller group would be better.

We did this room as a beta test set at full difficultly and it was awesome to do and then give feedback to the owners. Great room with some interesting lock types and unique puzzles!

Break out your reading glasses! This one is very text heavy, but overall a decent whodunit. We were expecting things to be a bit more complicated, but it was very straightforward and linear.

Sherlock done right! Holmes/Detective rooms can be hit-or-miss, but this was a huge hit. Well-balanced with different types of puzzles, more reading than an average room, but not as much as some other Sherlock/Detective rooms that we’ve done. Set was very well done.

This was a unique experience in a sense that you really need to read careful. I loved that it genuinely made you feel like a detective and had a lot of piecing together of evidence

This was such a fun room, and another well themed edition to Escape Effect’s line-up. Be prepared to read a lot though, so I highly suggest communicating everything you see. This is probably my favorite room here so far.

Good room if you are into really thinking about putting things together through reading! Opening is slow and difficult but definitely picks up and gets fun towards the end!
