The Villain's Lair

There’s some “not to love” elements of this game but I still enjoyed and recommend it. For one, prepare to unnecessarily duck/crawl between rooms until your knees ache. Prepare for one particular bottleneck puzzle that could end your friendships if you don’t ask for a hint. And lastly, prepare to be very very warm. I don’t know if they’ve fixed this but when I played, two of us almost passed out and the GM said it was the normal temp in there. With all that said - the story is fun, there’s some really awesome moments, and my team had fun which is what matters.

It’s kind of sad that they toned the room down to a regular jail escape. I thought the room would be funny. One of the puzzles might be challenging for 2 people, but it’s still manageable. I would say it’s an okay room.

Hands down my favorite game at this location. I’ve never had an escape room challenge me and make me laugh so hard at the same time. THe intro video was extra special and my best friend and I still quote it to this day! This was ALMOST impossible with two people, almost, but we still succeeded and raked in the victory! Definitely say that you need a team of at least 4-6 people to be able to go through this pretty successfully. One area was especially difficult for just the 2 of us. If you were going to play just one room here with your team, I highly recommend this one.

I actually really enjoyed this game. Overall I thought it was well done. However there is one portion where having only two ppl made achieving a goal almost impossible. Don’t do it with less than 3. Trust me. Overall I’d give it an 8 out if 10.
