Curse of the Emerald Seas

Did not enjoy this experience. At first it was fun then got stuck on one of the puzzles. Got a couple hints about the puzzle on the screen but it was already exactly what we were doing. The hint didn’t help at all as we were already doing what the hint said to do.Felt like we spent 20 minutes trying to decode this puzzle with no additional hints..then another hint just flat out told us what to do…then we move on an come to another puzzle. No matter what we did we couldn’t decode it. Time is ticking and we are spending way too much time with no results. No new hints even when we expressed we needed a hint,,it was clear we were not going to figure it out…and probably 10 minutes go by with deep frustration and asking for a hint several times… felt like the guide was not watching us and didn’t care we were not having a good time didn’t care we couldn’t move forward. We basically just gave up and watched the clock run out of time. The guide was immediately there when the time was up. When we expressed our disappointment the guide just said she didn’t like those puzzles either and she wasn’t able to give us more hints. I’ve done several escape rooms and always complete them in time. The guide makes a huge difference. I enjoyed the other two escape rooms at this place so this one was very disappointing.

It was a pretty average pirate room. I don't know about "Best Set Design of the Year" considering how strong other rooms are in the area but whatever. Needed a couple hints to get us on the right track but we had a fun time.

Good room! Clues were pretty extravagant. I enjoyed the challenge. Really have to think outside the box in this room. Lots of thinking involved in this room. The staff was fun and friendly. I liked that the game masters didn’t blurt out clues unless we had asked for one. Look forward to their other rooms.

The set design was really cool, however the game masters were not attentive and many of the puzzles did not work. Doors were stuck etc.
