The Curse Of KV62

I took my family to this room for their first escape room experience and they had a great time! I think it's an appropriate difficulty for beginners, however, it is really short. There were six of us and I was the only one who had done a room before. We finished in just over 30 minutes (it's a 60 minute room). I think the difficulty was fine, but the room definitely could have benfited from one or two additional puzzles. (So I would say don't bring more than 4 people. No more than 2, maybe 3, if you are experienced). That being said, this room is a lot of fun! The theming and atmosphere are great, and there are definitely some unique mechanics! Definitely left my family wanting more escape room experiences. Also, the people working there are super nice.

Out of the 6 escape rooms that Iv done, this is by far my favorite escape room! Extremely immersive (not scary at all). The amount of detail is unreal, literally feels like Disney created it. We had 4 people and puzzles were challenging enough to stump us twice, but we were able to solve the rest of the puzzles by paying attention to the details of the room. This room is perfect for a large group of beginners or a smaller group of intermediate players. Truly remarkable job on the design team!

The theme was well played out in the decor. The puzzles were interesting and were easy to follow but if you are a beginner it could be tricky. Great for families, we had 8 in our group and at times it felt as if there were too many in the room. Overall, great room!!

Great room! Loved the special effects, fun puzzle design. The set was really well done. The staff was also really nice and enthusiastic. My only very small critique is that it is a little too dark.

This was one of my first “high tech” rooms and I was blown away by how cool all the puzzles were! I didn’t love not having a countdown timer in the room because I kept panicking about how much time we had left and probably would’ve not been so eager to ask for hints if I had a better sense of our time remaining. However, I understand the reasoning as it did keep the room on theme.

This was a decent Egyptian room. Not much to say beyond that. The staff was super friendly and outgoing. That was definitely appreciated.

High tech room! Definitely not a room to overthink but pretty cool overall. I recommend a group of 3 to 4 for this one!

Definitely an easier game but I don’t think that’s a negative. The average escape room player has not played so many that they track it on an app ;) Even though my team was very experienced and crushed it pretty quickly, it was just so much fun. This game is the perfect Pharaoh room because of the immersive atmosphere and fun puzzles. Great Tech. And of course awesome customer service. This would be a nice palette cleanser after the very difficult Dracula room.

Our game master Sam was absolutely great — but our group finished this escape room quite fast that it was disappointing to us. The set is rather beautiful and the interaction with the pharaoh was great. The puzzles are a lot easier than we thought and very straightforward so this was not challenging to our group. Definitely a great beginning room if you’ve played under 5 games!

Set design was very nice. It reminded me of Red Giant (though smaller, a little less theatrical). However, the room is pretty short and the puzzles are very easy. The problem with the puzzles, however, is that it is not super clear which puzzle leads to the next one. The room is very linear so getting stuck on one puzzle or not knowing where the next puzzle is can stall you.
