Baldwin Manor

I wish there was a rating between thumbs up and thumbs down, because I didn’t hate this room, but I certainly didn’t like it. The rate at which the gamemaster was asking if we wanted clues had us concerned that we were behind where we should have been. Color us surprised when we escaped with 12 minutes left. The room was unnecessarily dark. The atmosphere would have been just fine with a little more lighting. Some of the puzzles expected you to get from point A to point C without going through point B. They could have used some intermediary clues. Some puzzles had tech issues. With all of that, I couldn’t give it a thumbs up but it really wasn’t a bad room.

Had a couple unique puzzles. Really enjoyed our experience.

It was good overall. We liked it. Yes we have done better including Ninja at this location which was super awesome, but it was still a good room, fun puzzles, nice tech mixed in. It’s enjoyable and not has hard so it’s good for everybody

Fun game, one prob was broken, maybe 2 hard to say. But they found workarounds to make it flow. (Tv video instead of phone call). It still flowed well, and had a king series of good puzzles.

This room is perfect for 2 people! I do think it would go faster with 3-4 people. My husband and I really enjoyed the magical dark arts theme. The only part that was tricky was it being a darker room and there was only one flash light. It made it hard for two people to separate and look for other clues. There was one hiccup in a puzzle where we had it right and it wasn’t working properly. Therefore, the GM had to tell us the code so we could move on. Otherwise great room and set design!

I was blown away with this room! I didn’t find this location until a googled quite a while, but it’s extremely high quality. This was the first mystical/dark arts themed room I’ve done and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Fun and unique! I’m not a huge magic/dark arts person, but the room was really enjoyable.
