Tremendous immersion and a very playful room. The decor was fantastic and there were some unique puzzles with a creative hint system.

Unique hint system and there were a few added optional puzzles that if completed earned you a prize to take home.

Spectacular room! I enjoyed it more than a thumbs up but I’m not sure if it’s exactly a heart. Pros are that it’s a very theatrically impressive showing. Flashing lights, animatronics, voices, and stunning set pieces. Funny moment in the middle too! I’m still amazed at a literal hallway room due to the high quality presentation. Cons were one puzzle that didn’t quite work so the GM literally had to force open the door for us. Final puzzle was also anticlimactic. There’s a more interesting puzzle to solve in the final room, but they’re considered “bonus puzzles.” While the idea is neat, and I’m glad they told us that there WERE bonus puzzles that could be ignored, it was tough to figure out which clues were bonus puzzles and which weren’t. We ended up wasting time looking at things, only for the GM to lead us back to the much more disappointing main puzzle. I also hit my head hard because of an unfortunate design choice in the set. So while I overall found the room impressive, the confusing nature of the bonus puzzles brings it down a peg leg.

Very immersive, well-designed and decorated. Some of the puzzles are pretty difficult and you REALLY have to search thoroughly. We missed or ignored 3 things that we ended up needing hints to find.

Some highs, some lows… that’s the way the game goes. I think I would’ve appreciated the humorous twist in this theme more if the game didn’t malfunction while we were playing. I did like the bonus quests that allowed for more puzzles and gameplay outside just solving the main storyline. The sets here are pretty and puzzles involve a lot of tech.

It’s cool they have side quests so you can get more puzzling action out of your time!

Unfortunately the game was malfunctioning and had to be reset during our play. It didn’t really ruin the overall experience and I appreciate the complexity of high tech games like this, but it was definitely a bummer.
