Permanently Closed - Your Escape Room Mission The year is 1898. After a daring jail break from the Utah State Penitentiary, you and your accomplices have been recaptured in Browns Park, Colorado. Unfortunately, an unknown member in your party killed a posse member during apprehension and you are all now facing charges of murder. You are currently being held in the Hahns Peak jail, but are just one hour away from being transferred to a much more secure facility in Aspen to await your fate. You must round up the evidence against you and escape! Escape from the old west inspired by true events In fall of 1897, Harry Tracy, along with prison-mate David Lant and two others, escaped Utah State Penitentiary after Tracy inexplicably drew a .45 Colt from a ditch they were digging outside prison walls. While on the run, Tracy and Lant were eventually apprehended and taken to the Routt County jail in Hahns Peak, Colorado (still available to visit today). After a couple of weeks, they escaped again, only to be recaptured again just south of Steamboat Springs. After a few weeks in the more secure Aspen jail, they escaped again! Read more here.
