Gold Rush

My first mindtrap escape room and wow what a fun one! Ive done a few different western escape rooms but this one is unique and fun. Great puzzles, not super difficult so good for beginners but still a challenge

This is a great room for beginners. It might be older gen and less techy, but Mindtrap's trademark cleverness and gift with design make it enjoyable regardless. We absolutely loved this one.

Great game. Fun with satisfying puzzles. Mostly first gen puzzles and locks, but it doesn’t take away from the experience that MindTrap is known for.

Gold rush is how I fell in love with MindTrap and decided it was worth it to drive to Temecula a million times to play all their rooms and show my friends, too. Similarly, I think this would be a great first game for anyone you might want to introduce to escape rooms. Experienced players will also still enjoy the charm, creative hints, storyline, and twists on classic puzzles.

While this is an older room at MindTrap, the set still feels amazing. You can see its age in the lower tech puzzles. There are more locks to solve and more scavenger hunt aspects to this game than their other rooms.

Pretty typical cabin room vibes, there were a lot of mechanical puzzles but they fit the vibe of the room so it was still fun. The room is full of a lot of the same kind of puzzles, in a fun way, but its not one of the best rooms they have, just pretty basic. Still worth the play.

Another great room by mindtrap! Loved how tiny aspects from the story tie into the room. We struggled a bit before we forgot what items we used and did use… but user error!

Hilarious room and great theme, we played this one virtually during shutdown and it delivered in so many ways even playing remotely. Game master is awesome and the puzzles are themed and cohesive.

Such a fun beginner room!
