Booked on a whim when at the fringe festival and it was 100% worth it! Puzzles were interesting and despite being an easier room, some still managed to stump us! Game flowed really well and our host was lovely 😊

Delve into the depths of modern day Summerhall, a cultural center for arts and alcohol lovers alike! We’ve partnered up with our neighbours at Pickering’s Gin to create a challenging and immersive experience- Locked in the Distillery. Your mission here is to uncover the identity of the disgruntled employee plotting against the Distillery, find out what they’re up to, save yourself and save the gin!

The Distillery is not the most difficult game at Locked In Edinburgh but is a solid game for beginners and experienced players alike.
Gameplay
Gameplay flows well, 2-4 players is probably a good group size for this room.
Atmosphere
Locked In Edinburgh has the advantage of being in a very cool old building, Summerhall, so the room structures have a lot of design elements already there. They also have a gin distillery at Summerhall so the game has the benefit of real knowledge, (disclaimer: players don’t need to know anything about gin prior to playing.)
