Professor Hoffman’s ideas were too radical and far too expensive for this for the 19th century city to support, which is what drove him to madness. He has stolen, defrauded, and even beaten a man within an inch of his life in order to develop his ideas “for the betterment of humanity.” But now he has mysteriously disappeared. You have received a strange recording from the Professor, calling you to investigate his study. Are you smart enough to figure out what he was working on and where he’s gone?

Went with a larger group, but I would say sweet spot for this room is five people max. There were times were a few of us were standing around as two or three completed a puzzle for us to move forward. That being said it was still a lot of fun with some really interesting puzzles. We finished the room with 23 seconds to spare! Mostly because of two puzzles where timing was everything that took us a little longer. Go check out this room! You won’t regret it.

This room was very frustrating! It’s only 45 min which is just not enough time. The beginning puzzles were fun but the final ones were just frustrating for our “enthusiast” group.
The first half of this room is well done and fun! The second half was confusing, frustrating and left us unsatisfied.
Set design was beautiful and unique!
Hosts were all lovely!
Takes a long time to get through the mall.

A well themed room in the Time Machine genre. Very difficult but it feels like it may be played better with fewer people. fewer people = more activities to do. more people = more brain power to solve.

They are cutting rooms down from an hour to 45 mins. This room is a 3rd gen room. The puzzles are either incredibly easy, or just impossible. Not satisfying.

This place was very different from all others I’ve experienced. The thing is that even if we got a hint on something, it didn’t make sense and there were times when it was explained in more detail and we did it but it still didn’t work. The gamemaster couldn’t tell why it wasn’t working or if we had anything wrong. The scenery is also just so busy and crowded that it’s hard to figure out what is actually meant to be used.
It didn’t make much sense. The storyline was interesting but the game was confusing and some machines didn’t work when they were supposed to.

This room is great until the last puzzle which literally has nothing to do with anything other than pass time because they couldn’t fill up the rest of the story. Beautiful until the end.

So many bizarre interfaces and unique puzzles! The set had a lot going on, but it didn’t quite have the same wow factor as other rooms even by this company. It provides a good challenge, and there were some very unique interactions. The final act of the room was really exciting, as you finally activate the time machine!
