Premise: Moments after the elevator begins to move, you hear a snap. The elevator plummets to the bottom of the shaft. Unfortunately, you are now stuck on the maintenance level. With the alarm system broken, and the maintenance worker nowhere to be found...can you escape from the elevator?

I had low expectations coming in. The Elevator replaced an old room that ranks low on my list. I went in with an open mind and we ended up having a great time. A lot has improved since the last time I’ve done a room here. The puzzles were on the easier side but better than before. The production is okay — there’s not much you could do with an elevator theme, but they made it work. We got out without any hints. Our hosts, Nick and Jonas, were amazing! They made our stay feel at-home and provided water when needed. I heard a rumor something is new is coming this summer? Can’t wait to see what’s next!!
Started off slow at first but towards the end there was a lot of momentum
There’s not really a lot you could do with an elevator theme. Not a bad thing. Now if they could make the elevator drop a few inches or bounce that would be cool. It’s really just a room with puzzles.
Nick and Jonas were super! Took care of us the whole night and kept checking to see if we need water! I must’ve looked dehydrated!

Fun room! Nothing special, but I do like the concept. One of the puzzles was incorrectly set up, but we ended up figuring it out. Our GM was friendly and inviting! I do enjoy the sequel room “Elevate” much more than this one though!

Not super hard and really fun! Only needed a hint or two throughout the room. Simple design and had a good flow!

Fun, linear room. This room was similar to the room “elevate” at the other Exodus location but the puzzles were completely different. I really liked how immersive the room was, and I appreciated the diversity of the puzzles. Just make sure to pay close attention to all the details!

This has potential but the rooms don’t flow very well. We had to flag our game master down to get her attention before we could get a clue. Two of the puzzles didn’t work and when we insisted the puzzle was broken, nobody came to help. When our time ran out, we showed the game master and she acknowledged the puzzle was broken but we didn’t get a refund or discounted game. It was unfair.

Didn’t escape, some of the mechanisms and puzzles were broken on our play through and it counted against our time. GM was pleasant, but couldn’t figure out why many of our puzzles didn’t do what they were supposed to. Also, for the space given and experience, price was too high.

Was very excited to try this room because of the unique theme. And it did live up to expectations. The space was perfect for a group of two. Would definitely recommend for beginners and a great date night!
