Unfortunately this game was a bit of a miss for us. While the decor is fun, we had some issues with the puzzles, and were left feeling underwhelmed.

The Hatter's hat's hat is needed so that the hat of the hatter can control the hatter when wearing his hat but the hat of the hatter's hat is where the power of the hatter's hat is at. Without his hat, the hatter's hat is powerless and the hatter with or without his hat will be himself if the hatter's hat's hat is taken away. You are needed to help Alice find the hatter's hat's hat so that the hatter can be himself again...

First visit to Escaparium Dorval (I usually go to the Laval location). A terrible experience. The GM seemed a bit out of it. We asked him for clues, but he didn’t respond. We had to ask for his attention three or four times in a row before he’d answer. On top of that, his responses to our requests for clues were inconsistent. He gave us answers to puzzles we had already solved. A padlock was defective, and the company knows it. They sent someone to open it when they realized we couldn’t unlock it even with the right combination (we had to enter the correct combination at least 2–3 times before they noticed). Later, in another part of the game, other mechanisms were also faulty. That kind of dampens the excitement of the gameplay. For these reasons, we don’t really feel like going to the Dorval location anymore.

Overall it is a great game , the puzzles are good but the decor really needed to maintained more by the staff, everything was broken, a lot of things were missing parts or were clearly visibly broken or not clean.

Overal amyzing and fun , I wouldn’t of done it with more then 2 people though , fun little games only 2 locks , the décoré was amyzingly done overal great game .

The decor in this room is amazing. They really went hard with the Alice in Wonderland theme. I think the theme was really well executed and that the puzzles were very contained within it. However, the puzzles were on the weaker side. Some of the puzzles required too much of a logical leap, or the steps to take didn't seem very clear, or was flat out missing any clues to lead to them. Had a ton of fun still.

Great game, great theme, great decor! Really loved the details in the decor and how they managed to fit quite a big game in a small space. Some pieces of the decor and some puzzles maybe kinda start to be old but it doesn’t affect the gameplay that much, but I’d say all games at Escaparium West Island have that. Had a bad experience with our gm, but had a really great experience overall.
