10 escape rooms
I took my parents/family here for their first escape room experience. So, my main goal was to make sure that they had a good first time, and they all definitely had a lot of fun! However, to more avid players, this room can be frustrating. One puzzle when executed correctly, did not trigger, we ended up having to ask for a clue, and just restating what we did. He then confirmed we did it correctly, and to just fidget with it till it worked. Another puzzle was frustrating in the sense that it was essentially a very bad video game. A few puzzles were unclear as to what the next step was. The GM was essentially working as our guide. We definitely had fun, but I could also see it being very frustrating and too difficult. The GM says Submarine is their hardest room, and the Bank Heist is on the easier side, although the Morty app lists it was the opposite.
Many puzzles were unclear as to what the next step was, and the GM had to tell us what to do next a few times.
The set looked great! Awesome visually!
Sephie was our GM and he was absolutely amazing.
Yes
One puzzle was pretty different than what Iβve seen, but not necessarily in a good way.
Story was super immersive, very well integrated.
Hard
Puzzles were just too convoluted to flow together without help. The puzzles themselves were not hard to solve, but understanding the next step was.
