I did this room for my 17th birthday and it was the first room I ever did! the puzzles are a nice challenge, not too easy but also not too hard to solve. if you’re feeling nostalgic or want to experience what living in the 80’s feels like with a little murder mystery twist id definitely recommend it! I will say im a bit biased because it started off an unhealthy obsession with escape rooms
the game flows really nice, there are three paths in the room and each path is labeled pretty clearly, there is also a set goal
it definitely felt like a time capsule of a teenage girls bedroom
the staff is very warm and welcoming
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
the murder mystery theme had you really immersed in the story, along with the atmosphere its a very good immersive experience
you never really forget about the premise due to it being a murder mystery and being able to guess the killer just keeps you glued onto what’s happening in the room
the room fits 2-6 players and I feel like there would be a major difference between the amount of people. if youre more experienced the less people the better, if youre newer id recommend 4-6
only a few techie functions in the room the rest is more manual which I feel helps set up the atmosphere like a real investigation
4 is the sweet spot no matter the experience level
nothing really scary, one or two of the tech functions may startle you but its not scary
10 or 11 is the golden target for a room like this, its not too hard but the older components may have younger kids asking what a cassette tape is or even a VHS tape. reading comprehension is also important for this room
Physically active
Not at all
its a bedroom setting, its only one room
Accessibility
only 1 big color puzzle, everything else is pretty good about accessibility
