Some really imaginative puzzles in this space! This room hits a nice balance - if you're a family or new to escape rooms, this room is not too challenging. However, if you're a puzzle person, the bonus puzzles were especially tricky (even for me). Really clever room, and great set-dressing, too.

This is my favorite escape room at this location. The puzzles were very good - all on-theme, some difficult ones, too. This room had a lot of great reveals and wow moments. If you only do one room here, do this one!

While acknowledging just how highly rated this room is amongst various escape room communities, we were so thrilled to try our luck in this space; overall, this room was fantastic! But, this wasn't our top-5 favorite for several reasons. First, despite technically being an 80s baby, many of the references just didn't stick. They were fun, novel, and we can totally appreciate that - but we simply didn't know what half of the stuff were lol. Second, I think those references carried into solving of specific puzzles. We did love and appreciate how diverse and tactile some of them were; but because we were caught up on not knowing what we were not knowing what to look/get/understand - it all just felt confusing. We'll admit (because we played 3 games that day), this was a rough day for us in-game, so we needed hints and struggled, but the props, accessories, and design was very fun. Kinda wish we got to see the bonus room...

Wow just wow. For some, this room may be simply a walk in the park, but for us - this room was intense, spooky and scary! We greatly enjoyed the challenge and succeeded but this room touched upon some of our personal fears in such a palpable way. The experience gradually builds and intensifies as you go. Greatly designed room!!

This was the first The Escape Room game my partner I ever played, and we were instantly hooked. This is top notch escape room production quality. This room has some quirky narrative twists and turns which make it quite memorable. Only thing we got caught on, is there is one puzzle that requires breaking something, which was surprising to us.

Room lived up to its great reputation! Having a small team also presented some challenges due to the unique gameplay and design. Overall, fun and great experience. Awesome reveals, props, and surprises; especially the ending. The hint system was also signature and authentic. Highly recommend!!

This was a super cool game! It is a massive space, so lots to search for, but I thought the set design was a tad underwhelming. The game flow was extremely non-linear, which meant there was plenty for everybody to work on at all times, but I felt as though I missed out on seeing many of the puzzles because I was elsewhere (I played in a group of 4). I did not find it difficult, although the puzzles were intricate and thought-out. I definitely had fun in this room, but I personally do not feel super connected to this theme, which is possibly why I was not crazy about the overall game.

This was a fantastic escape room! Immersive, nostalgic, thought-provoking, exciting. I played in a group of 2, and I felt that was a good number. The puzzles are all so cool, that my teammate and I both wanted to be a part of solving each one - and we still had plenty of time left! The set is amazing and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed this game more than Supervillains, which I played directly before. This is a must-do!

How Do Escape Rooms Work?

Remember those point-and-click adventure games where you’re locked in a room and have to solve puzzles to find the key and escape? Those online games were the original inspiration for the live escape rooms you’ll find all across the world today. An escape room is an immersive experience where you (and your team of 2 or more people) are locked in a room with a series of puzzles for 60 minutes. To escape and win the game, you have to look for clues, solve the puzzles, and find the key. While most escape rooms only give you 60 minutes to complete the challenge, others may have shorter or longer time limits. Many venues are private rooms where you and your team are the only players. However, some places may pair you with other groups who booked a slot at the same time. And don’t worry about getting stuck, asking for hints on a difficult puzzle is totally normal. While the original escape room (created by SCRAP in 2007) had a fairly simple aesthetic, today’s escape games often take you into a different world. Artistic set designs, secret doors, and unique interactive elements are all part of the fun. It’s like an adventure game that you can interact with in real life. But if you’re hoping to preview any rooms before you book a game somewhere, detailed images and videos can be hard to find. To keep the puzzles a secret and preserve the experience of seeing the room for the first time, most venues only offer a few photos or a short trailer about the room’s theme or narrative. The only way to know what it’s like is to go and try it for yourself!
