I have autism and I was having a hard time focusing on the rules and guidelines, and our GM went out of his way to speak calmly, softly, and slow enough for me to be able to grasp it while I played with my fidget toy for anxiety. He was extremely accommodating and was not offended by the lack of eye contact. This kind of courtesy is super hard to find nowadays, so my husband and I really appreciated his kindness. The game itself was wonderful! I think I spoiled myself by playing Pins & Needles first, but I still absolutely loved this game. The puzzles were unique and challenging, and the type of puzzles varied so you never got bored of just doing number, code, or key locks. Our GM made the game super fun, and even a bit creepy! We had a blast with this game. BOTH of this businesses games are the BEST in the escape room game right now.
Pins & Needles Tattoo ParlorThe Exit Games FLEscape roomIRLI CANNOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THIS ROOM! But I’ll keep it short. This is the first room I played from them… and damn, was I absolutely spoiled. My standards will forever be Pins & Needles high. This is the best escape room I have EVER played. Our GM, Kyle, was AMAZING! Request him! It was totally unique, creative, and SPOOKY! I would do ANYTHING to play this again for the first time!
Neighborhood WatcherThe Escape VenturesEscape roomIRLWOW! Let me start by saying, the set for this game was PHENOMENAL! One of the best Ive encountered so far. You can tell a lot of thought went into it. The actual puzzles flowed extremely well; there were no holes in the story. Each step could be figured out on your own, with a good amount of thought and consideration. We needed very little help, but it was still challenging enough to be enjoyable. It had a slight creepy factor, but I definitely would not consider it “scary”. We really enjoyed our time playing this game.
The Seventh RoomDare 2 EscapeEscape roomIRLI really don’t know what to say about this room… with the amount of hype it gets, I truly thought it was going to wow me, but I was left very disappointed. I feel like it needs an update. SO MANY of our puzzles were not working, and it ruined the immersion to have someone come in and try to fix it, or just let us bypass the puzzle because it wasn’t working. The spook factor is there, but it’s just not scary… this game could be one of the best, most scary rooms in Florida, if they just revamped it.
The Sneaky Snake LoungeEscape UEscape roomIRLLoved this room! Super cute theme and set, and very friendly staff. The room flowed well, and none of the puzzles were too difficult to solve. I found the room felt a BIT easy and felt a bit short, but otherwise this room was SO FUN and CUTE! Would definitely make the trip to play with them again!
The Video StoreDare 2 EscapeEscape roomIRLME AND MY HUSBAND LOVE THIS ROOM! The puzzles were unique, creative, and interesting. The room was easy, but not TOO easy. As just a team of two, we did need a few nudges here and there! The flow was amazing. We loved the old school blockbuster concept of this room - so nostalgic! They say the 7th room is the best room of this business but it’s VIDEO STORE BY FAR!
At The Hop Ice Cream ShoppeDare 2 EscapeEscape roomIRLThis game left us very frustrated. I thought I was good at escape rooms… but this room left me feeling like an idiot! There was literally NO FLOW! And the puzzles were so hard and out of the box, it made us feel dumb! There is no ability to connect two and two in this room, it’s all just dumb luck! I know it’s their newest room, so I’m hoping they take reviews into consideration and try and fix a few puzzles. It’s the perfect date night room if they can just get the flow down!

Very beautiful set, although I feel they definitely could have done more and made it a bit bigger to give it more of that school feel. If you’re easily frightened I don’t recommend this room - could be very scary for you! If you look spooky, then you’ll enjoy the nice creepy factor here! The ambiance is just wonderful and the puzzles are so unique and creative. Our only issue is it was a little short! We even arrived 15 minutes late and had it cut from our time and still escape with 25 minutes left! The staff is very nice. The camera feed disconnected during our game so our GM had to join us in the room. She was very apologetic and got us a free round of drinks from the bar from the inconvenience. Definitely give this room a try!
Smoke & Mirrors: Houdini's Final EscapeEscape Hatch - OrlandoEscape roomIRLTo start, our gamemaster was AMAZING. I believe her name was Melody; PLEASE REQUEST HER! We had so much fun. My husband and I played the advanced version, and even though we’re escape room lovers, we still needed help here and there! This room is VERY lock heavy! Almost everything is number/word lock or key lock, but the way they do it still makes it fun despite being repetitive. We literally had about 30 seconds left before we escaped LOL We definitely want to go back and play more. The owner is also extremely kind, and had a very long chat with us about escape rooms. Can’t recommended this business more!
The DepthsThe Escape GameEscape roomIRLI don’t recommend this business to people who have a set team, or like to play with just their spouse or family. They seem to be a cash grab. With such a high budget, I was expecting an amazing game, but it just seems to be a bunch of high quality tech, with little to no use… I hated this game, but my husband enjoyed it. I think it just depends on the person, but the experience was not for me. I would, however, recommend it for families with young kids. They would 100% enjoy this room!
