Cabin 13
Legacy Escape Rooms
Escape room
IRL
This room can be customized based on your group. You are separated in to sub rooms based on how difficult you want it but are all still in the same room. You are brought in blind folded so you don’t see the clues for the other rooms. Gives off more of team working vibe. Theme is good and not scary just spooky. Puzzles were good but a bit on the tougher side
Da Vinci's Secret
60Out Hollywood
Escape room
IRL
Had high hopes for this one but ultimately left disappointed. Puzzles were broken leading to a lot of time wasted and our game master didn’t even notice that was the case until we asked for help. We wasted about 25 minutes on broken puzzles and that really ate in to our time. After that time waste motivation was also low to even keep going but we did until time ran out. Pass on this one

Horror Escapes LA
Escape room

This one is not for the faint of heart. Part of a series of rooms, the office mainly takes place in the dark and there is a live actor in the room. It can be tough with more people as you aren’t given too many ways to see in the dark. Overall it was a good room but avoid it if you are scared of the dark. Puzzles make decent use of the theme

The Escape Revolution
Escape room
IRL
We were hyped up for this room because we had heard good things but were a bit disappointed. The room is not bad at all but also does not stand out against some of the other rooms we have done. I would say this one is a great beginner room as it has a lot of straightforward puzzles and more mechanical (physical locks) with few high tech puzzles. Definitely don’t recommend too many people as there aren’t enough puzzles to go around. The first room was very themed but the rest was a bit of a let down. Still followed the theme somewhat but just felt so plain. If you are newer to escape rooms and want to experience a more vanilla experience then this is great to start with. Veterans that are used to rooms with a crazy twist or unique puzzles might be disappointed here.
Evil Robots
The Nemesis Club
Escape room
IRL
One of those “from the moment you walk in” type experiences. Just getting to the entrance gives off a speakeasy vibe, like a hidden exclusive club. The whole area is themed great and that’s before you get in to the room! We are from LA which contains a lot of great escape rooms and this one is in our top 10 for sure. Great use of tech and one section even has you feeling like a spy. Also the main character of the room is one of the best parts. Definitely a must try if you are in the area
Grandma's Masterplan
60Out Melrose
Escape room
IRL
This was tough room so I recommend doing it with experienced players. We did it with newbies and and we did not escape as there are several rooms to this one. The theme is great and humorous. Puzzles follow the theme and not out of place locks and such. One of the better 60 out rooms
Hero
60Out Silver Lake
Escape room
IRL
This room disappointed. All the other 60out rooms had good themes and puzzles. This one felt very badly put together, like props shoved in to a container. Some of the puzzles were frustrating time wasters and others didn’t even make sense with the room. I would pass on this one
Hope End
The Ministry Of Peculiarities
Escape room
IRL
Hands down the best escape room experience I have done. The actors were in character from the moment you walk in. Every puzzle goes along with the theme of the room, which is like a rich Victorian era home. You don’t have to worry about time either as they do their best to move things along automatically. Be aware your party will be split up in the beginning for a short time. And our in room actor was excellent, really making us immersed in the experience. And the ending varies based on so many factors so everyone’s finale is likely to be different, very cool.
Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle
60Out Melrose
Escape room
IRL
The best 60out has to offer. The theme goes to the newest Jumanji reboot and is done so perfectly you feel like you are in the game. Puzzles are very unique and I’m sure one you won’t find anywhere else. The game master was awesome and even gave us a bit of extra time as we rushed through the end to escape. One of the better rooms we have done and definitely in the top 5
Lab Rat
Hatch Escapes - LA
Escape room
IRL
This room reverse the concept of a lab rat where you are shrunken down and are the test subject! Everything feels larger than life and room has some very teamwork puzzles. Puzzles are perfectly themed to the room and and story is great. In my top 5 for sure
