So very well decorated, good puzzles, the best puzzle direction I’ve seen in an escape room, so would very much recommend for beginners! If you’re experienced in escape rooms, you’ll absolutely speed through, but it was the most fun I’ve had in an escape room so far!

The two of us did the room with no clues, except for the GM stepping in once, which was the last thing we needed to speed through to the end!

Prison BreakFox In A Box Gold CoastEscape roomIRLGood room, if you are experienced in escape rooms, you’ll find it quite easy! Good combination of electronic and analog puzzles and locks, but is quite linear in the first half. 2nd half was a lot of fun & the warden’s role playing by the GM was really well done! Also, requires a bit of math, watch out!
BunkerFox In A Box Gold CoastEscape roomIRLAt the time of this review, I’ve done 20 escape rooms. Bunker was the most unforgiving & difficult room I’ve done so far. The first room has so much information available to you when you start that it took the two of us our first 10 minutes to discover a starting point. So many things are also arguably very well hidden that it’s also very easy to miss things. One puzzle in the room also includes arguably breaking usual escape room conventions by disassembling something, and I thought it was unfair, if this was implemented differently (and was doable by someone with nails), and/or had a ‘open me’ or something like that instead would be a whole lot better.

The Missing ProfessorUrban Mysteries CoEscape roomIRLWas a really good experience, but I wish that our game master was a little more hands off running our game! We seemed to have a puzzle piece for maybe 2 mins every time before help would come through over the speakers, which we felt was too much handholding that we ultimately didn’t need. It,didn’t give us enough of a chance to work out the puzzle ourselves, and then solved all but 1 of the side quests. Still a good room, beautifully decorated, would have been better puzzles given a chance to work them out :)
