Into The AmazonTri-Cities Escape GameEscape roomIRLThis was a fairly linear game with good atmosphere. One piece of information given in the introduction needed to be remembered in order to escape. One puzzle was difficult to see due to faded paint. When we pointed it out to the gamemaster, she said the owner did that intentionally to make the game harder. One puzzle had a serious flaw that made it impossible to determine if a symbol was one letter or two, which ended up wasting us a lot of time. Apart from a few minor flaws, a very enjoyable game, even though tikis are not from the Amazon.
Blackbeard's TreasureIntense EscapeEscape roomIRLThis is a linear game with little tech. The puzzles were enjoyable but not very novel. The narrative was incredibly simple - the story line was simply “find Blackbeard’s treasure.” Clues were rhyming verse written on laminated index cards. Lots of locks with little sign posting. Still enjoyable.
