Chapter 4: The Courtyard
The Basement : A Live Escape Room Experience
Escape room
IRL
One of the best escape rooms I’ve done. Able to accommodate and preferred a group of 6-10. Had a group of 8. The play area was large, multiple areas, live spooky actors. The puzzles were challenging and there were multiple to divide amongst the group. Live actor was amazing and all staff we super nice to us.
Chapter 3: The Study
The Basement : A Live Escape Room Experience
Escape room

First time at a horror themed escape room, amazing staff, had a group of 6 that required full communication. Once we understood the story and how the room puzzles were coming together it became a better experience. Live actor performed well for us even though we were runnin all over the place. Good escape room

Very fun experience with first room. Felt refreshing with the story and puzzles I haven’t seen yet. Super nice staff, the owner was on site and we enjoyed talking to him about how he started building this escape room. Will be comin back for the other rooms.

First room i’ve done here and it was very exciting. I’ll start by saying the first puzzle of the game, like others have said, was a big time waster because it just wasn’t making sense even with hints. After that the rest of the puzzles were very team based and required a lot of communication. Hearing everyone run around shouting was a blast. The theme of the room was a fun chilling story you follow that made my friends scared.

My favorite room at Red Door. Had a group of 4 go through it. There were a lot of puzzles, everyone had something to. Fun props and decorations. Puzzles were thought provoking and mechanical. Great staff, great time.
Prison Break

This is feel like can be one of their easiest rooms, escaped with 28min left, with a group of 4. Time consuming puzzles where for one if you land it first try then you can shave another 10min. First puzzle of the room I felt didn’t have enough clarity as to how to solve it. Had a very interesting technical puzzle that i won’t spoil but it was cool and new to me. It’s decorated about as much as you can for a prison.

This newer room was pretty fun and spooky to go through. The puzzles worked well into each other and weren’t too hard to understand. I enjoyed the multiple rooms. With 6 people it can be very cramped in the first room, additional areas offer more space. Very LOUD noises, wasn’t a scary room but the noises would make you flinch. No story to follow with completing puzzles, you’re givin the rundown why you’re in the room before you begin but it’s a traditional you just have to escape setup. Staff at the end basically said you made it out, goodbye. No debrief or offer to answer questions regarding the room or offer to take group photo until I asked. Wasn’t very cheery like every other escape room i’ve done. Still a fun room i would recommend 👍🏼

This VR escape was fun and challenging. A group of 4 feels like the max, anything more might feel a little cramped with the play sets. Fun opening sequence where everyone is designated a role that is critical to solving certain puzzles for only they could solve it. This escape tests different perspectives, memory, and communication. Really fun room.

Did this last October when it was new and it was a trip. First VR experience was really fun. Challenging puzzles that made everyone take a second look to realize the solution. Spooky and amazing ending.
The Warrior's Way

Not my favorite room but not enough for me to press dislike. This is pitched as their most difficult room and that’s true, but not due to the difficulty of the puzzles but because there’s no clear direction for any of the puzzles in the first room. A lot of time was used up talking among each other wondering what each side does. Had to use a few hints to get the ball rolling. It’s also pitched as you will be needing all your senses and that’s true, you gotta rely on touch, hearing, and smell and that’s all super unique. The amount of unclear direction is what killed it for me. Escaped with like 13 seconds left.
