The Hex RoomCross Roads Escape GamesEscape roomIRLWe had a great time in The Hex Room. It’s a very immersive room with a horror movie theme, definitely a little creepy but no jump scares. Everyone gets the chance to solve their own puzzles, but they can also get help from the group. Requires good teamwork and communication.
Cold CaseClever Fox Escape Rooms SUN CITYEscape roomIRLThis is my favorite escape room I have done to date. I plan to do all the other Clever Fox rooms that I can now!
The Fun HouseCross Roads Escape GamesEscape roomIRLThis was a fun room, although it was almost entirely puzzles to figure out lock combos. Would be great to play with kids. Not as difficult as their other rooms.
The Bayou: The Legend of the Midnight RavenThe EntrapmentEscape roomIRLI enjoyed this lengthier 90-minute escape room. We played with 2 people and escaped, so probably wouldn’t be too challenging with a larger group than that who is good at escape rooms.
Neutrino 42Boss-Play Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLGroup started out in their own cryogenic pods and had to solve their own puzzles to get out and work together. I loved the theme of this room and the challenge of having your own puzzles to solve. I would definitely recommend this one.
The Disappearance at Fogmore ManorThe EntrapmentEscape roomIRLA solid, standard escape room. Puzzles were sequential, so had to be solved in order. We played with 2 people and only had 30 seconds to spare, but did escape! Probably wouldn’t be too challenging for a larger group that is good at escape rooms.
Clownatorium-2 Upside DownNightwalker Caverns Escape Room AdventuresEscape roomIRLThere were a couple unique mechanical puzzles and parts of the room which were neat. However, it did feel a bit homemade in terms of production quality. We were super excited to have an actor in the room with us, but he did not do much acting. He was dressed as a clown, perfectly on theme, but was a teenager who spoke in a normal voice. It would have enhanced the experience SO MUCH if he had spoken in a goofy clown voice. We were told he was our babysitter to make sure we didn’t break things, which would have been fine, but I felt that he constantly offered us unsolicited clues, which I think we didn’t need. I wish he hadn’t. So my overall enjoyment of the room was a little lukewarm, although it had the potential to be awesome.
Prison Break: Warden Strikes Back!Escape - DivisionEscape roomIRLI enjoyed the challenge of being trapped in separate cells with two groups and having to work together to solve each other’s puzzles. It also had some fun mechanical features that shocked us!
Quest to the Forbidden Temple | Chapter 1: The Secret GalleryDynamic Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLWe enjoyed this room, although our party of two did not escape. I think we were slowed down a couple times by puzzles not working properly, but a group of 4 who are good at escape rooms would surely be able to escape.
The Time Travel Paradox [VR]Escape To VREscape roomIRLI really enjoyed the novelty of doing an escape room in VR. The puzzles were not as challenging mentally as a typical escape room, but it was still fun to be able to have mechanics and settings that are only possible with VR. It would be superior if the puzzles were more challenging.
