This room subverted my expectations throughout the entirety of the experience, which was awesome. The host was also great!

Lots of different types of puzzles, and great for letting the team split up and work on different puzzles before coming back together to move forward. We went with 6, and didn’t feel like we were stepping on each others’ toes. Just a fun room.

This sets a really high bar for horror escape experiences. Amazing atmospheric design, great actors, and effects I haven’t seen before. We had a teammate who was super nervous about going into a horror room, but they had a great time in this experience!

Very immersive room with puzzles that are well-themed for the environment. I appreciate that the room encouraged cooperation between people, giving us each different things to do. We did Frost Base and Paradox at Rabbit Hole, and I think I prefer Paradox, but Frost Base is a really great room that stands out from others we’ve done. Can’t really go wrong at Rabbit Hole!

Great room, puzzles that really fit the theme, and really amazing set design. With 2 people, we got to split up and work on different things as well as collaborate on a number of puzzles. Lots to do, lots of variety, and lots of fun.
Room 303 - Chapter 1

Very well-themed room, with interesting puzzles and some nice quality of life choices (thanks for pausing the timer during lore!). Really played into the hotel experience, which made it a unique room for me.

A very well-themed room, with at least one member of the team needing to do some physical activity (which I thought was super well designed), and a live actor who can be engaged with or ignored as the players desire. It’s been a couple years, but I still think back positively on my experience in this room.

Really fun and well-themed room, with a super attentive host! Lots of different types of puzzles throughout as well, it was a great experience in our group of four.

A well-themed and atmospheric room, with a good sense of progression throughout. This was the first room for a couple of our players, and they were able to contribute alongside more established puzzlers. With six players, some folks occasionally felt like they didn’t have much to do, but other than that, it was a great experience!
Dark Heart of the Hotel - Chapter 2

A fun experience that builds out the lore of the ongoing story of the Homicide Hotel, but I’d agree with other reviews that Room 303 was a more exciting and engaging room. Dark Heart’s got some clever puzzles, but Room 303 felt more immersive and higher stakes. Looking forward to the story’s continuation!
