SUBmergedExodus Escape Room - Anaheim Hills, CAEscape roomIRLUnfortunately while my fiancé and I were playing, a large group of intoxicated 40 year olds were in the lobby making so much noise we could hardly focus on our game. The game master was trying to keep them quiet and was not paying attention to us and we were trying to ask for a hint for about 15min before I finally exited the room to get the GM’s attention for a hint. About 10 min later one of the intoxicated adults in the lobby leaned on our door which opened and no one bothered closing it so I had to go and close the door. At that point I was just ready to leave and did not even want to finish the game. Our GM apologized and gave us a few extra minutes for the lost time but we payed way too much money as a group of two to have all of these issues come up. I’m sure it was just an odd circumstance but still frustrating to say the least. The game itself was okay, definitely outdated.
Dr. OfficeHorror Escapes LAEscape roomIRLRoom wasn’t bad but definitely scary themed and super dark! Finding the building was super difficult considering they are only labeled as a comic book store. There was no note left on the door for us, the door was locked and no one answered the phone when we called trying to get in for our game. No one came to the door until our game start time and then we had to go through all the normal stuff so we didn’t start for at least 10-15min after our game time.
