Storyteller's SecretBoxarooEscape roomIRLI could write a review.... but I can't.... I don't know how.... I was absolutely and genuinely speechless after playing this room. I was told so much how I had to play this room and everybody was right, I'm so glad I did! From the story, to the reveals, to the gameplay. It's been so long since I DIDNT want a game to end... I wish it would have kept going. Boxaroo has set the bar high and I've been ruined in my escape journey that I want to play it again even though I just did. IT WAS JUST THAT GOOD! And what I loved about it is that it can be adaptable for all stages of escape players. There's only thing left to say: Go discover the Storyteller's secret!
The Body ShopRed Fox EscapesEscape roomIRLThis room right here...... I..... I don't even know how to describe this room. From the theming to the storyline, this game really drew me in to what it had to offer. I don't want too say much because there's a twist to this game that had me go "OH HECK NAH" but I had to play because I just needed to know..... "what did I get myself into???" This is definitely one of my favorite all-time games and I cant wait to see what else Red Fox has to offer on our next visit.
Level99 RoomsLevel99Escape roomIRLI was told what to expect but still didn't expect what I experienced. This place is as if Mario Party had finally come to life without the board game portion. This place was absolutely incredible. It is QUITE physical (ask my body!), but I love the fact that it has mental and skill games as well and cool "side missions" like Hunts which gives you even more reason to explore this vast place. If you have the time and money, get the all day pass! We got to experience almost every room (3 were sadly broken that day) multiple times. Plus there's even a reward element that will keep you wanting to play more. I would definitely love to check this place again and try more of the food which I heard was awesome !
The ObservatoryThe Gate EscapeEscape roomIRLWe didn't know about this place until we got a recommendation from another escape room to try this place out. So we rearranged our schedule and made time to stop out and IM SO GLAD WE DID! This game really made you think and there was definitely plenty of puzzles to keep you busy and then.........y'all..... I can't tell you what happened but there's a part of the game that will blow your mind. This is definitely a must play room!
The MidnightersOlde City Escape GamesEscape roomIRLLoved the aesthetics of the lobby and the hospitality of the amazing staff. Esza was our game master and gave great instructions starting our game and setting the mood for our story. I loved the logical flow of the puzzles and the soundtrack was amazing throughout the game. The puzzles were fun and even felt a sense of urgency. One spot did make me jump and laughed right after which is a great sign of decor and fun. Definitely will be back!
Deep Space5 WitsEscape roomIRLI've always been a fan of the "5 Wits" Franchise from when I first discovered them in Plymouth Meeting. I was excited to know that the Deep Space adventure would be on our way back from Boston so we made a quick side trip. The beginning.... YES.. YES... YES...... I love the amazing way 5 wits can start an adventure with some magic and this one was awesome! As for the rest of the adventure, it was a slight bit of a roller coaster for me. The middle portion of our adventure was little rough but the ending was an amazing display of technology. I enjoyed being able to cross this off my list but Tomb is still reining supreme for me in the 5 wits universe.
