Whatever Happened To The Garretts?Maze Rooms West LAEscape roomIRLGreat room design, great flow, loved the period references. Had a great time doing both this and their other room Tombstone back to back. The GM was also really nice to us as we were waiting on our room and between rooms.
EscobarThe Escape RevolutionEscape roomIRLOur GM Frank was a delight to have running our game. The game had very immersive set design and great puzzles that are integrated into the side. We loved those moments where we thought "they don't actually want us to ___ do they?" but the answer was yes and we were rewarded for it.
Tomb Of Anubis13th Gate EscapeEscape roomIRLThe set design is phenomenal and it's worth doing just for that, but the puzzles are quite difficult in a frustrating way and not in a way where you feel accomplished for figuring it out. The iPad hint system also feels especially cold and frustrating to use, especially when you're most of the way through a puzzle but get stuck on the last leg of it, and so all the hints the iPad gives you are stuff you've already figured out. If you do this room, commit to asking for lots of hints and solutions if you feel stuck at any point or you won't make it in 60 minutes. Our group didn't get out even though I thought we were making good time and I was fuming all day about the iPad.
